Notice of the 2026 Annual General Meeting

TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY 18 JULY 2026, COMMENCING AT 11.00AM,

AT THE URAIDLA HOTEL, URAIDLA SOUTH AUSTRALIA

You are invited to attend this important event in the DSWAA calendar. In our twenty-first year, the 2026 Annual General Meeting is to be in South Australia for the first time.

Key aspects of the Annual General Meeting are:

•  The Annual Report is tabled recognising what has been achieved and what is continuing

•  The Financial Statement is tabled giving an indication of our financial situation 

•  Nominations for the President & Committee for the year to May 2027 are received

•  The New Committee and the President are elected

•  The DSWAA program for the coming year, and beyond, is outlined.

The venue is the Function Room, Uraidla Hotel, 1198 Greenhill Rd, Uraidla, SA 5142.  

You are encouraged to attend the 2026 AGM in person, but a video link will be made available to all members who RSVP.  

The AGM will be followed by lunch and a field trip: ‘Up, Down and Around Mt Lofty’, visiting local dry stone structures and other places of interest in the area.

The opportunity to RSVP and information regarding voting, including Nomination and Proxy Forms will be provided in an email which will be sent to you in the coming week and will be available on the Association’s website.

RSVPs, to attend the AGM in person or online, are to be received by the Secretary, no later than 3 July 2026.   

The 2025-26 Annual Report and Agenda, and the Draft Minutes of the 2024-25 AGM

These documents will be included in a further email to be sent closer to the AGM.  

Zoom invitation 

The link for the Zoom invitation to attend the AGM online will be sent a few days before the AGM.
